See Why Past Guests Think We are One of the Best Places to Stay in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Arlington Heights, Ill. | April 27th, 2016"We booked two rooms for two nights at the Pine Inn, while vacationing in central California with friends. We enjoyed everything about this hotel. We loved the look of the lobby and sitting room. The desk staff were polite, efficient, and helpful when needed. The rooms were a little small, but very clean and comfortable. We loved the dining area and bar. A great happy hour spot. We had one great meal in their restaurant, Il Fornaio. Also their breakfast buffet was really good. They did an overall great job...we agreed we would gladly stay there again." |
El Sobrante, Ca. | June 30th, 2016"We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. This is an historic hotel and is decorated as such. The queen room was comfortable and roomy. It is an older hotel so there is no elevator and our room was on the third floor. They have a bellhop to carry your bags, but my husband and I carried our own....it was a bit of a workout. There was a breakfast buffet included (eggs, meat, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, bread, granola, muffins, coffee/tea). The hotel is in the center of town, conveniently located for dining and shopping. The parking lot is on the back side of the hotel, but there is a loading zone in front so you don't have to carry your bags to and from the car. We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful!" Jenny & Pat, Australia | August 22nd, 2017"Both Pine Inn and Carmel by the Sea were an absolute delight to my husband and I. We stayed here because Pat wanted to play a round at Pebble Beach, which he achieved to his delight. Luckily for me, there were shops, galleries and the Concours de Elegance taking place, so my day was full as well. Overall I would recommend both this destination and Pine Inn as a place to either explore for the first time, or return to whenever possible. We are from Australia so coming back soon will not be possible for us for a few years. Thanks, Jenny & Pat " "It's hard to beat the Pine Inn for location in Carmel if your plan is to explore the nooks and crannies of this delightful town. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean, the beds were comfortable and the tub was luxurious (especially with a "bath bomb" from the Lush store located in the hotel complex!). My room was just steps away from the on-site Il Fornaio coffee bar which provided my early morning "cuppa Joe" and a bakery treat." |
